On our darkest of days, we are reminded by our emotions of the mere fact that we are only human; we breathe, we hurt, we feel down, we cry, we smile etc... and it's okay to not always feel 100%.
Personally speaking, often my inner saboteur, also known as the perfectionist is quick to attack my downfalls, all because I'm having a day where I'm less likely to be as productive as I could be on others. I'm reminded, if not by myself but others, that I need to learn the art of patience, which slowly I'm achieving but one must break old habits to reach any full potential.
Not all of our greatest moments happen will necessarily be able to happen over night, however with the right attitude and goals in mind, anything's possible... and when it does, there's a rush of adrenaline kicking in and we start picking up a pace where nothing can stop us.. be sure to hold on to that feeling.
Come a dark-down day, remember we hold the power to our own actions - movements, and sometimes all someone needs to do is take a step back and just breathe. Take a moment of silence, even a few seconds to remember the little things in life, which make us happy, what we're grateful for, or why we are striving for the end result we are.
Perhaps what we want cannot be fixed right away, or we can't get it in that vulnerable stage, but, with determination, focus and passion, anything is possible.. and a negative moment can't take that from us, if we choose not to let it get to us. And instead of being deflated or feeling low, keep your head leveled, breathe... look ahead to that finishing line, because we are all capable of doing so much more than what we sometimes believe we can do. Anytime you feel you're knocked down, get back up and keep going.
Question for you: What're some of your goals?
