SHARING MY FINDS..
I enjoy debriefing at the end of the day by watching simple videos capturing day-to-day life, adventures, recipes/tutorials etc.. but not only that, I also enjoy when some videos happen to feature cool editing and cute fonts; I'm a sucker for these minor details in editing - nothing too flashy - simplicity at it's finest.
After aimlessly scrolling videos via Instagram, Youtube, Twitter and Tiktok, eventually there's a point of hitting the bottom. Although not literally as it's never ending.. its the internet! You do however reach a point where you (mentally) can't go any further.
I've come to the conclusion I want to contribute by posting my own content. I want to create what I'd like to see and the easiest comparison is using a similar logic as reading a book. Have you ever been in the mood to read a particular genre and storyline, but came to the realisation that book doesn't exist.. what's the solution one may ask? Easy, create your own.. go ahead and write what you'd want to read, especially if there's a gap, or not enough material out there for what you're interested in.
Sometimes to fill a void of what's missing, becomes the motivation and push we didn't know we needed.
Anyway.. on to content creation, naturally part of the process involves the use of an editing software.. and in my case, using my iPhone and a selective bunch of apps. In particular, I've really enjoyed using VN, which I've gone ahead and installed some of my own fonts from Dafont to use.. especially those that'll match the aesthetically pleasing videos, as found on TikTok, and to create my own content.
I referred to this: video - on how to install fonts - it's a bit fiddly but once you've done it, it's a piece of cake!
Fonts I've downloaded (and may use in future videos):

There'll be more I can share in future, but these are a few options to pick from for now!
Q FOR U - What's your favourite font?
